Insurance!
How do the rest of you deal with insurance? I hope to graduate from street fairs this year and am finding that the larger shows require Bodily Injury and Property Damage liability insurance. Now...will any insurance company have this available? Are there any craft-friendly insurance companies out there?
And...about what will it cost?

Hi Ellen - I insure through Hartford - it does cover this but it is part of my policy for my brick and mortar store so it covers other things as well. My policy for the shop runs $500 per year. I haven't found anything any cheaper or better coverage. I'd check and see if they might have a modified policy for more what you are describing. I'd like to know that, too! :)

I've got insurance through NASE - National Association of the Self Employed. They have very friendly policies, though lately my costs per month have risen. It's worth having a rep give you a quote.
