- I paint! On canvas, paper, glass and wood. I decorate wood boxes with pyrography (wood burning) and paint with my original designs inspired by animals in Celtic culture and nature.
My paintings cover many subjects from animals to landscapes and people.
I feel I always will be learning and am enjoying exploring different directions and mediums in art and crafts. I also like to knit and sew. I love works by Gustav Klimt and the Impressionists.

Well it depends how you translate it! Chinese new Year began yesterday and their twelve year zodiac calendar has an animal for each year. This year is the Year of the Rabbit /Hare and depending on the region you will find different folklore associated with the rabbit while the hare is associated with fertility and longevity. The Vietnamese zodiac replaces the rabbit / hare with the cat. The year of the rabbit is said to be a peaceful one, let's hope so.
