I came across the image of what looks like an old handwritten letter, the nostalgic nature of it grabbed my attention right away. The brown tones of this are great and would perfect even for the guys!

I love the romantic feeling that shabby chic design elements bring to an environment. I had a lot of fun with these couple of coaster sets I just created.

Okay...so it is only January 11th and we are not even half way through winter here in Maine...I have had enough.
In search of something for my next design of stone coasters, I decided to think Spring. I love springtime when all of the flowers start popping out of the ground and the weather starts to warm up. I really enjoy being outside at that time of year because it is not too hot and not too cold. Gee...I feel like Little Red Riding Hood there!
