There are lots of places to promote outside of Facebook and Twitter -- too many to list. I highly recommend looking through Etsy.com's community forums for posts about marketing. I've found Etsy sellers are very generous with sharing tips…

- Hmmm...I love to design using fabric, as much as I love to create. Anything creative inspires me. Or, sometimes, nothing at all. I just 'get inspired'. I sew handmade jackets, knit, make jewelry, donate chemo hats and fabric teddy bears to charity, and love to sew hanmade doggy fabric items.

Interesting coincidence! I know the Tyler - East Texas area. My mother has a farm between Jacksonville and Troup which I am in the process of helping her sell.
