How to upload an image to Craftsu.com

Here is a very simplified set of instructions for how to upload an image to Craftsu

1) Login to Craftsu.com

2) Go to upper menu bar and click on the link "Gallery"

3) Look for the link that reads + Add Photos (upper right of page, directly to the left of your Craftsu account name) and click on the +Add Photos link

4. Now you should arrive on a page called "Add Photos". If not start over, until you arrive there.

5. There is an image of a bright blue box with a camera and a link that reads "Click to Add Photos".

6. When you click on that link, a box opens up with a list of your computer's files. You can (a) click on an image file that has been previously saved in a folder to your computer or (b) enter the web address (URL) of an image online, like from your website.

If you have any problems using the blue box to add photos, look for the link text below the blue box that reads "simple uploader."

7. After you do either of the above, you will be taken to a page that shows your image and says "Edit Uploaded Photos". Here you can type in a Title for your craft item, a Description of the item, and Tags that users might type in to find it (example: crocheted mittens, baby slippers, etc)

8. If you want people who view your photos to be able to go to your website after viewing your image, type some text into the "Description" box that includes a link as in this example:

9. When you are done entering text for your photo Title, Description and Tags, hit the blue "Save" button. Your image is automatically entered into the site's slide show and will display at random times. Anyone clicking on your images will be taken to a descriptive page and read whatever text and link you have added in step 8.

10. That's it. To add more images, just repeat all the steps.

If these steps do not allow you to upload images on your own, consider asking someone with computer experience to help you through them. With time and maybe only a few errors, you will soon be doing this yourself.
